This is where your skills in strategy, data, and creativity become the engine for our clients' success across Europe. Obsidian Balkans isn’t just a delivery hub. We are a center of exellence and innovation. From Banja Luka, Sarajevo, and Podgorica, we design and execute digital strategies for clients in the Nordic and Central European markets.

If you are driven by learning and delivering flawless execution, you have come to the right place.

Built by doers, learners, and believers

What defines working at Obsidian isn’t just the job — it’s the people, the pace, and the purpose we share.

What makes us different as a workplace

Own Your Impact. We move fast. Good ideas are tested, not debated in endless meetings. We value progress over perfection and would rather learn from a calculated risk than stagnate by overthinking. Responsibility isn’t tied to seniority; it’s earned through initiative. We trust you to deliver.
Stronger Together. We are a tight-knit local community with a global reach. We collaborate seamlessly with our colleagues in Denmark, Finland and Germany, but we also lean on each other for support. We share knowledge openly and celebrate each other's wins.
Stay Curious. The digital world never stands still, and neither do we. Growth is our default state. We encourage you to ask questions, challenge old ways of thinking, and explore new technologies and ideas. Your personal development fuels our collective success.

Our core values

Proffesionalism
We take our craft seriously - not because someone tells us to, but because we're motivated by quality. Whether you're writing ad copy, building strategies, or leading clients, we expect focus, accountability, and pride in the outcome. Professionalism for us means reliability, clarity, and being someone others can count on.
Social Connection
We believe in strong relationships lead to stronger work. That's why we invest in social activities, team rituals, and informal time together - from joint lunches and Friday bars to office ping-pong matches and weekend retreats. Being part of Obsidian means knowing your colleagues as more than job titles.
Development
We expect people to grow, and we do everything we can to support that growth. Your development isn't passive; it's active, built into how we work. Whether you're presenting to a client or shadowing a senior colleague, every week includes learning opportunities that move you forward.

Meet our people

We believe in showing, not telling. That’s why we highlight real people, with real backgrounds and real journeys, so you can understand who we are through their voices - not just ours.

Each story is presented as a blog-style feature, where the person introduces themselves and shares answers to key questions about their experience. These are not scripted testimonials, but honest, direct reflections.

Anel Mušanović

Some of my favorite moments are when we get to work across offices. Every project is a chance to learn something new. Recently, I teamed up with our Helsinki colleagues on a project for one of the biggest automotive brands, and it was a great reminder of what we can achieve together. Different perspectives came together and turned into something bigger than any of us could have done alone - and that mix of ideas and skills is exactly what keeps the work exciting for me.

Neda Vojinovic

From the start, I’ve felt a strong sense of belonging within the Obsidian community, even with most interactions via Google Meet. Our office thrives on positive energy, fueled by diverse experiences and mutual support. With encouragement from our Banja Luka and Danish partners, our small team of ambitious women is determined to make the Podgorica office an essential part of Obsidian.

Miloš Tripić

For me, the most important aspect is the opportunity to work with many talented and passionate people. Even if you're not learning from someone directly, their example can inspire you to grow in your own field. I also appreciate that there's room to grow and carve out your own path. Feedback is generally welcomed and encouraged, which helps the company stay adaptable and open to change for the better.

Hana Tica

Working with Projecter deepened my interest in marketing. You expand your knowledge through huge international clients and meet them in person. Projecter colleagues go out of their way to help you learn and develop, with great organizational skills to top it off. You’re also part of a team that makes you feel socially included, even when you don’t see each other often. When you do, your workflow improves. A huge perk of my job is that my team always has my back, which motivates me to grow and contribute more. It’s a working environment I’d wish for anyone. Einfach spitze!

We respect your time and energy

and that starts from your first interaction with us.

When you apply

We love applications that show originality and personality. Don’t just tell us what you can do — show us. Concrete examples of your achievements, projects, or creative solutions make a big impression and help us see how you think and work.

What we look for

We look for people who are both skilled and collaborative. People who can take ownership of their work while lifting others up. People who care about getting things right — and helping others succeed along the way. There’s no single “Obsidian profile,” but we tend to value applicants who:

  • Bring a genuine interest in digital marketing and stay curious about new trends
  • Are open-minded and comfortable working with different cultures, disciplines, and perspectives
  • Take initiative and responsibility without losing sight of the team
  • Approach problems practically and creatively
  • Communicate clearly across disciplines or cultures
  • Are curious and generous in sharing knowledge

If you can show us who you are, what you’ve done, and how you think, you’ll stand out. Originality and concrete examples are far more compelling than generic statements.

After you apply

You’ll receive a confirmation immediately. We do our best to review and respond within a few weeks. Every application is read by a real person — not just filtered by algorithms.

Your interview journey with us

Here’s what you can typically expect after you apply:

1. Application review

Your application is reviewed by a real person. We look for potential and personality, not just keywords on a CV.

2. The initial chat

A conversation with our talent team to learn about your ambitions and see if our values align. This is your chance to interview us, too.

3. The skills interview

A deeper dive with the hiring manager to discuss your experience, skills, and potential to succeed in the role. Some roles may include a technical or reasoning test at this stage.

4. The team interview

A chance to meet potential colleagues and discuss how you approach teamwork and problem-solving. This stage often includes a practical case exercise relevant to the job.

5. The finale!

If we're a perfect match, the final step is a formal offer. We can't wait to welcome you to the team.
