Growing right now

At Obsidian, we don’t just hire people to fill roles — we look for individuals who are eager to shape their own careers while contributing to something bigger. We are a performance marketing agency with a clear mission: to create exceptional business results through digital strategy, and to do so by empowering talented, curious, and driven people.

This page gives you a transparent look into life at Obsidian: how we work, how we grow, and how we support each other — from day one and every day after.

Open positions

Our organization is structured to scale, and we’re constantly growing across markets, departments, and specializations. Whether you’ve just graduated or have several years of industry experience, you’ll find clear expectations, structured development, and space to take real ownership from the start.

We don’t believe in bureaucracy or excessive formalities. We believe in meeting great people, understanding their potential, and seeing if there’s a strong match.

What defines working at Obsidian isn’t just the job — it’s the people, the pace, and the purpose we share.

What makes us different as a workplace

We move fast. Good ideas don’t sit in slideshows — they get tested and implemented. We’d rather make a mistake by acting than stagnate by overthinking.
We empower early ownership. Interns speak to clients. Associates run real cases. You’re trusted as soon as you’re ready.
We’re both structured and creative. With clear career paths and client models, there’s room for both order and experimentation.
We’re constantly evolving — new markets, new services, new ideas. You’ll never be bored, and your input will always matter.

Our core values

Proffesionalism
We take our craft seriously - not because someone tells us to, but because we're motivated by quality. Whether you're writing ad copy, building strategies, or leading clients, we expect focus, accountability, and pride in the outcome. Professionalism for us means reliability, clarity, and being someone others can count on.

Social Connection
We believe in strong relationships lead to stronger work. That's why we invest in social activities, team rituals, and informal time together - from joint lunches and Friday bars to office ping-pong matches and weekend retreats. Being part of Obsidian means knowing your colleagues as more than job titles.

Development
We expect people to grow, and we do everything we can to support that growth. Your development isn't passive; it's active, built into how we work. Whether you're presenting to a client or shadowing a senior colleague, every week includes learning opportunities that move you forward.

Meet our people

We believe in showing, not telling. That’s why we highlight real people, with real backgrounds and real journeys, so you can understand who we are through their voices - not just ours.

When do you feel your work matters the most?
When I work with the right team – the people I get to share it with, both my colleagues across offices and the clients I have the privilege to work alongside – my work feels most meaningful.

The moments that truly drive me are when we exceed expectations. When we’re not just running campaigns or maintaining a business, but actually helping to develop it. I often compare our ideas to lottery tickets – you never know which one will hit. But when one of them turns into a win, it creates an incredible feeling that we’re truly best in class. That’s when it really feels like what we do makes a difference.

Which skills or qualities help you succeed here?
You are always set up for success here. You work alongside the sharpest colleagues in a team that constantly wants to help you develop as a person.

At Obsidian, there are always opportunities if you have the drive, which motivates me to get better every day. A key part of success here involves engaging in high-level sparring and utilizing the great opportunities for interdisciplinary knowledge. Furthermore, we participate in continuous learning initiatives across various fields. These sessions are crucial as they help you expand your professional competencies and refine your skillset.
Nana Kopae
Senior Consultant
How do you experience the company culture in your day-to-day work?
I experience the company culture as welcoming and collaborative in my day-to-day work. There’s a good balance between professionalism and an informal tone, which makes it easy to communicate and exchange ideas across departments.

I especially appreciate the trust given to individuals to take ownership of their tasks, and that the management is receptive to ideas and feedback. This creates a motivating work culture where you feel valued and heard.
Michala Mundt Andersen
Senior Consultant
What do you spend most of your time on at work that people might not expect?
People might expect my role to be strictly about platform execution or client dialogue, but I actually spend a lot of time sparring with my colleagues. I really enjoy sharing what I know and troubleshooting issues together to find the best way forward.

I also spend a significant amount of time fine-tuning our internal processes and building a better structure for the team. It’s about fixing the small things that make the 'engine' run better, ensuring our work is more efficient and consistent for everyone in the long run.
Munir Sedighi
Associate Consultant
What’s one thing you wish you knew before starting here?
Before joining Obsidian Digital, I wish I knew just how rapidly my professional growth would accelerate. The pace here is intense, and because we work with some of the largest companies in Denmark, the learning curve is steep.

At first, I was nervous about the high expectations, but I quickly realized that you’re never alone. I wish I’d known that 'being an expert' isn’t about knowing everything from day one, but about having the passion to find the best solutions. It’s a culture where responsibility is given early, and the expertise you gain is truly unmatched.
Sophie Rouchmann
Consultant
How do you achieve a good balance between productivity and well-being in a busy everyday life?
For me, the secret to a healthy balance lies in a solid structure and intentional time management. I start each day by prioritizing my most important tasks, which helps me stay focused and reduces the feeling of being overwhelmed.

However, I’ve learned that well-being is just as vital as output. I make sure that my coworkers and I spend time on ‘non-negotiables’ away from the screen, such as a walk outside during the day. This boosts efficiency and productivity throughout the rest of the day, while also bringing me closer to my colleagues, many of whom I now consider close friends.

Mentorship that makes a difference

After 1-2 months of employment, you’ll be matched with a mentor — typically a more senior colleague. These are recurring, open conversations where you can talk about anything: your ambitions, challenges, feedback, or career planning.

Combined with continuous learning, sparring sessions, and peer feedback, our approach ensures that you're never navigating your growth alone.

We strive to improve in how we embrace diversity, inclusion, and well-being

We are committed to creating a workplace where people feel safe to speak up, take risks, and be their authentic selves without fear of judgment or exclusion.

Psychological safety for us means that every voice matters — whether it’s sharing a bold idea, admitting a mistake, or challenging the status quo — and that those contributions are met with curiosity and respect, not criticism.

We value and actively seek out different perspectives, experiences, and ways of thinking, and we work to ensure that everyone is treated with dignity and fairness, regardless of their background, race, religion, sexuality, gender identity, or any other aspect of who they are.

We are not perfect — but we are intentional. Inclusion at Obsidian is not a slogan. It’s an ongoing commitment.

Making life outside work as rewarding as life inside

We believe high performance is only sustainable when people feel supported — not just as employees, but as individuals.

When you apply

We love applications that show originality and personality. Don’t just tell us what you can do — show us. Concrete examples of your achievements, projects, or creative solutions make a big impression and help us see how you think and work.

What we look for

Black arrow pointing to the right.

We look for people who are both skilled and collaborative. People who can take ownership of their work while lifting others up. People who care about getting things right — and helping others succeed along the way. There’s no single “Obsidian profile,” but we tend to value applicants who:

  • Bring a genuine interest in digital marketing and stay curious about new trends
  • Are open-minded and comfortable working with different cultures, disciplines, and perspectives
  • Take initiative and responsibility without losing sight of the team
  • Approach problems practically and creatively
  • Communicate clearly across disciplines or cultures
  • Are curious and generous in sharing knowledge

If you can show us who you are, what you’ve done, and how you think, you’ll stand out. Originality and concrete examples are far more compelling than generic statements.
