Does the algorithm prefer that you post on Wednesday morning or Thursday evening?

It’s a trick question. It doesn’t matter. Or, at best, it matters very, very little.

The reality is that most of us have less-than-optimal LinkedIn profiles and don’t need to worry about algorithm-friendly timing for our posts.

Instead, we should focus on getting the basics right so we can be found and connect with others.

Morten Münster and Halfdan Timm together have 84,000 followers on LinkedIn (the exact distribution is, according to Halfdan Timm, who wrote this text, unknown and, furthermore, irrelevant).

They are following up on their webinar "First Aid for Your Crappy Newsletter" earlier this year with a new one, where the topic is loving care for your LinkedIn profile. All the basic things you should have in place before diving into astrology and algorithm tricks.

The last webinar received a lot of positive feedback and one unusually negative comment, and we hope you (maybe again) want to spend an hour with Morten and Halfdan, walking away a little wiser than when you came in.

Target audience: Anyone working in marketing and sales - or anyone who would just like to have more friends on LinkedIn.
